About The Regional Historic Environment Strategy
The Historic Environment Strategy for Yorkshire and the Humber Region 2009 - 2013 was published in February 2009 and is available to download below.
The production of this document is the culmination of 18 months of consultation with a wide range of organisations and individuals. After an initial workshop in February 2007, a consultation draft was published the following November. Over 60 responses were received from various organisations including regional agencies, Local Authorities, Civic Societies and a range of voluntary groups.
Following publication of the document, a further series of consultation workshops were held over the Spring of 2009. The workshops gathered views to inform the development of an action plan to support delivery of the strategy. A draft of the Action Plan has now been produed and is available to download below.
